UPP Postpones Thursday’s March in Favour of Panel Discussion on Throne Speech

The Protest March planned for Thursday, November 20, by the United Progressive Party (UPP) has been postponed to make way for a Panel Discussion on the Throne Speech, which is to be delivered by the Governor-General that morning.

Permission for the March – which was intended to continue the Party’s call for an independent investigation into the Ministry of Works scandal dubbed

“Vehicle-gate” – was received this evening, November 18.

However, instead of that exercise, the Party has decided to invite all right-thinking persons to tune in to its various media outlets on Thursday night and be part of the roundtable examination of the Government’s plans for the upcoming year, sector by sector.

This exercise is part of the UPP’s continuing efforts to educate the public.

Therefore, we will assess the success or failure of the Browne Administration’s plans for 2025 and review its proposals for 2026, with the aim of holding the Executive to account – given its current policy of keeping taxpayers in the dark about its misspending and malfeasance.

Further details about the discussion time and media platforms will be published by Thursday morning.

  1. JAMALE PRINGLE Company ( WADADLI ENTERTAINMENT) is EMBROILED in this VEHICLE GATE. We saw the warrant on Pointe Fm last Saturday. How hypocritical can you be when you are involved. I find that ABLP Radio Hosts are not pushing that His Company did not pay the duties on his vehicle.

    Colin and Lamin just talk over each other daily and not concentrating that JAMALE PRINGLE Company did not pay the duties on The vehicle. Guys please push on the radio and let people know about JAMALE Pringle and His Company.

  2. I listened to BEEF on Miss Knight ( according to J TRUTH BULLER ,BULLER KINGHT) show last evening. Beef is singing for His supper. He knows that UPP is doing the wrong thing but He is afraid to condemn Them. Beef was fired from every Radio station He worked. Now He is acting P R O for UPP. What a sick FAT MONSTER. BEEF and KNIGHT cut from the same cloth. They are UPP in the closet.

  3. When my UPP will stop this damn picket and motorcade. It is not working. I am appealing to Them to stop this crap. Having the senior citizens who can scarcely walk on the picket line. Young people not supporting UPP.

    UPP must REVAMP. Get rid of all these old farts and start a New political party. By doing so , the new party might win election 2035. This current UPP not cutting it.

We have to be a set of crazies to want to replace Gaston Browne with Pringle that alone says that isban instant failure and the rest of their candidates only one pass the litmus test and that is the Hon. MR Richard Lewis all the rest is a bunch of farts and people know this they ain’t ready yet to take the reins of this country Gaston Browne is a head of the class this decision to make UWI free will empower our youth and get their support and also create a population of professional in various areas to move Antigua closer to becoming an economic powerhouse it’s a beautiful thing this guy dreams of big things for his Country he is a visionary and knows exactly how to strategize and make things happen so don’t ever count him out.
