Police have summoned a United Progressive Party (UPP) politician for questioning over alleged fraud involving forged cheques totaling nearly $40,000.
The investigation focuses on over a dozen fraudulent cheques unlawfully used at a local bank, bearing a local businessman’s information.
As of last night, the UPP caretaker was undergoing extensive questioning by law enforcement.
