The party also released a tribute image honouring Francis, affectionately known as “The Smooth Golden Voice,” highlighting his years of service and his impact on national development.

In extending condolences, the UPP said:

“The United Progressive Party wishes to extend condolences to his family and all those who mourn his loss. May the Angels lead you into paradise; may the Martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the Holy City; the new and eternal Jerusalem.”

Francis was remembered not only for his political contributions but also for his influence in broadcasting, where his distinctive baritone voice became a beloved part of the national soundscape.

He leaves behind a legacy of service, dedication, and excellence that continues to inspire colleagues, constituents, and listeners across Antigua and Barbuda.

  1. Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of this former colleague and friend. In my days of broadcasting I learnt much from just listening to Nat Moses. How to curate a playlist, how inflection in voice carries feelings, when to just be quiet.
As we go through our mourning let us remember his life’s work in his community, his attitude of fairness, helpfulness, caring and embody them in our lives thereby ensuring that his spirit is multiplied forever.
To his wife, his family, his other colleagues I say take strength in knowing THAT man, take refuge in prayer and solace in knowing that whatsoever pains he felt on this earth is over and he walks in a greener pasture now.
