United Progressive Party (UPP) Chairwoman D Gisel Isaac downplayed Kevin Arif Jonas’s resignation, stating that he had not been active in the party for years and his departure would not impact operations.
UPP Leader Jamale Pringle confirmed Jonas’s resignation, while Isaac emphasized that Jonas hadn’t held a significant role since 2018, including in IT, and was not an officer.
Despite some walkouts, Isaac noted new members joining the UPP, with Pringle expecting more recruits next month.
