     You cannot spin this one. Dr. Athill is a Professional person and cannot align herself with UPP and Thier DUNCE Leader JAMALE PRINGLE and the others. Richard Lewis and Bowen are next. Then the UPP will have the DUNCE elements such as SERPENT , SMITH ,SHUGY , PRINGLE remaining in the UPP. UPP is on a collision course before the Primary.

     I will suggest the following to UPP.

     Mr. Knight ( Observer, KNIGHT at night ) should become the UPP Candidate after Bowen resign in St. Mary’s South ). Also , Knight should become the leader of UPP.

13. Would be interesting to hear what the ideological differences are to which she refers. One of the great feat about the ABLP, has been its ability to mesh and stick together even when differences arise. Most of the other parties haven’t yet learned how to be cohesive. They often wash their dirty laundry in public, something that you never see happening in the ABLP.

21. DNA hemorrhaging, UPP hemorrhaging, ABLP getting new blood. Interesting, to say the least, but some people seem to have had enough of the negative politics on the one side. You know the side that find everything wrong in what the otherside do? Even when the otherside do something good, or right, the one side will find something wrong with the good or right that the otherside do. The one side always try to come over like they have all the answers to all the problems in Antigua and Barbuda. But low and behold, some people are looking over the landscape and reading the script, and after putting the level to the line, they come to the realization that the benchmark is not what the one side purported it to be, and so they make a conscious decision to realign themselves with what in their estimation is the true reference point. One ship done sink, the other one taking in water. While some will stay on it and perish, others done get in the life boat.

23. I would be very surprised if Ms. Athill aligned went with the Cult. Lester Bird informed us that sensible people are not attracted to the ALP. However, the fact is, Antigua is in shambles and instead of making efforts to get us out of the bind, the Dog is accused of being more corrupt than we ever thought. The ALP is a magnet for lazy, unscrupulous persons with the mentality of panhandlers. Only time will determine where Ms. Anthill stands.

24. It’s we the people who make up the government, not a political party, so someone quitting a political party is nothing new, it doesn’t mean that person can’t run as a independent candidate.

    So if this Good Dr has some great ideas for the country, bring them forward to the people and run as a independent candidate, real smart people in this country welcomes that.

25. This is a SERIOUS message to UPP. When are We going to learn. Everyone who left the UPP said the same message. Everyone cannot be wrong. Please UPP do some introspection. We need a strong Leader.       UPP cannot and should not be like ABLP. The strength of ABLP is blind support. For UPP it’s all hands-on deck. That’s the way the country is going to see positive change, not “strong” and tief leaders.

26. Folks may have their views expressed, in whatever way. Whether negative/ positive, or in-between. It’s all good. Looking at this; personally. This can never be good news for the opposition party. This individual is well educated, her intellectual capacity is impressive better than many within the UPP allowing this to take root is sad. UPP needs many like her. Once this trend continues this only will weakness the UPP.

    Reading the comments; I still feel some persons who supports the UPP haven’t got it. The priminister recruiting young people is a good move. Overhauling the party at this time will benefit the the party in the long run. Meanwhile the UPP stays fragile (uncertainty) leadership issues. If the UPP don’t get it together, winning the next election will be far fetch. Hey! This is just my view.
