United Progressive Party (UPP) caretaker for St. John’s Rural South, Emanuel Peters, spent the weekend meeting with residents of Lower Ottos — a community he described as the foundation of his public service journey.

Peters, who has been engaging constituents across the district, used the visit to emphasize his focus on community development, environmental stewardship, and collective progress.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by residents and said he remains committed to listening and responding to their needs.

Expressing gratitude for the continued support, Peters pledged to expand his grassroots outreach throughout St. John’s Rural South as part of his effort to strengthen ties with the community and reaffirm the UPP’s commitment to people-centered representation.
