UPP All Saints West Branch Makes Donations

to Three Government Primary Schools

Three government primaries in the All Saints West (ASW) Constituency received donations of school supplies today, August 29, from the United Progressive Party (UPP), ahead of next week’s opening of schools.

Two members of the ASW Branch, Deputy Chair Lorilyn Walker and Barbara Coates handed over the donations – of exercise books, rulers, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners – to the administration of the Sea View Farm Primary; the Freemans Village Primary; and the Buckleys Primary for distribution by the respective principals.

“We believe that principals and teachers are best suited to determine which students need these supplies most,” says the UPP Women’s Forum, which funded the purchase of 240 notebooks, 400 pencils, and 200 each of the other items.

“Most children begin the school year fairly well equipped; but as the term goes on, their parents might not be in the position to top up their supplies.  These donations should help to fill those gaps,” the Forum adds.

At present, the UPP is unrepresented in that constituency. However, Party officials explain, “that is no reason for the children of All Saints West not to enjoy the consideration they previously experienced.  Hence, the Women’s Forum, as a vibrant unit of the UPP, decided to step up … and stepped in.”

barbara got a beating from Batow that last election boi………now she trying to lick her wounds and appear cheerful in the little photo op………why she don’t take over and run on the upp ticket? maybe better luck for her in politics than football.

  2. @ when……………….

When will you stop minding people’s business and ga look afta you MOOMA business and you the CALF, son. ANIMALS FLOCK TOGETHER, just like BIRDS of a feather, 🤣🤣

  3. And what is the state of Antgua football Association, and what has become of Batow since the electon? It is the loss of AFA, that they contrived to keep Batow, rather than getting fresh leadershio to inspire growth. What is it with these Sports organisations that those entusted with managing, think that no one else can do the job?
Succession and renewal are necessary for good governance. No wonder Sports in Antigua seemd to have fallen behind in some areas compared to our Caribbean neighbours.
Kudos to Barbara for continuing to highlight your leadership qualities at the community level.

  4. I’ve been inquiring for quite some time now about the distribution of school supplies in the All Saints West constituency. However, I have yet to receive a response. I’ve noticed that other constituencies are distributing school supplies, and I’m reaching out again because my children are in need. Can someone please provide me with the contact details for the person or office responsible for distributing school supplies in this constituency? I would appreciate the number to call or any other information on how I can access assistance for my children.
