Cabinet Notes:

The Cabinet insists that those government officials and private sector personnel who will be on the frontline to meet, greet and have contact with the arriving passengers, whether by sea or air, shall be vaccinated in order to avoid spread to co-workers, their family members and others in their communities upon return to their living spaces after work.

Those who choose not to be vaccinated will be required to take a Covid-19 test at their own expense at least twice per month.

The Cabinet points to the evolving unwelcome situation in the British Virgin Islands where the Covid-19 disease has caused a lockdown and where contact-tracing has been abandoned because so many people there have contracted the disease, that it is not necessary to find the origin of the variant virus.

The Cabinet will continue to rely upon rational persuasion, inducements, and no mandatory sanctions in order to encourage all workers, who are likely to have direct or indirect contact with visitors, to take the vaccine.

      • one can still spread the disease if vaccinated but yet still they don’t require no testing how ironic. disease lives on surfaces for many hours yet still they want to push a swab all the up the nose to get tissue to test..why?? why not test one saliva cause if it can be spread in the air it can be tested in the air.

  2. Since both the vaccinated and unvaccinated can catch, spread, become hospitalized or even die from COVID, why are only the unvaccinated that must be tested twice a month? We will end up like BVI if we don’t change our course of action.

    The vaccinated will be allowed a free pass to enter without restrictions and spread COVID. The unvaccinated must test before entering, test after entering, do full quarantine and cannot attend major functions.

    Guess who will get the blame when the spread starts? THE UNVACCINATED!!

    We will loose our level 1 rating by CDC, we will loose the greenlist rating by the UK and we may have to go back into lockdown.

    STOP IT NOW! We know how to reduce the spread. Stop making the issue about vaccinated or unvaccinated. DO WHAT WORKS!

  6. There is no such thing as a Covid 19 Test. As explained by the inventor of the PCR, Kary Mullis, his “test” is not a diagnostic tool. Many other doctors including scientist Michael Yeadon who is the former VP/Leading scientist of Pfizer have echoed this. The test nor any inoculation should be mandated.   9. A traveller whether vaccinated or unvaccinated has to take a test to travel with a negative test, both person can spread the virus . Why the hypocrisy ,test the unvaccinated continuously and not the vaccinated and both are likely to transmit the virus

  10. Someone please tell the author that taking the vaccine does not stop you from passing on covid-19 to other. The vaccine purely prevent ‘you’ the vaccinated individual from ending up on a ventilator – thats it. The article makes no sense.

  11. What about the vaccinated co-workers who have COVID -19 and pass it unto the unvaccinated co-workers? These governmentgovernment officials need to understand that being vaccinated don’t stop you from catch COVID -19. Again only God that save life not any vaccines. Vaccine is just a partial remedy but God is the all Powerful and Healer not man. God gave man the knowledge to invented a partial remedy but to remind us we still need to come to Him God for healing.
