Representatives from UNFPA convened with Minister of State for Health, Wellness, Social Transformation, and the Environment, Senator Samantha Marshall, along with Permanent Secretaries Raymond O’Keiff and Sarah Stuart, in Antigua.
The meeting focused on finalizing plans for the upcoming Caribbean Forum on Population and Development scheduled for September 4th and 5th, 2023.
Themed “Accelerating implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development in the Caribbean,” the forum aims to address vital population issues in the subregion and review the progress of the Montevideo Consensus, a regional agenda for population adopted a decade ago.
