Uncertain Future for The Royal Beach Club at Fort James

The future of Royal Caribbean International’s (RCI) investment in a beach project at one of Antigua’s popular beaches remains uncertain due to Covid-19 delays.

RCI had planned to introduce The Royal Beach Club at Fort James in 2019, but the project’s opening in 2021 was postponed.

Minister of Information Melford Nicholas revealed that the project, initially designed for RCI guests, is under review.

The club was intended to blend RCI’s amenities with local culture, offering entertainment, private cabanas, a pool, and a swim-up bar.”

  1. C19 restrictions long done.
Every cruise line reporting fantastic profits last couple years and cruise fares have increased to beyond 2019 levels
    Sooooo
    Wheel and come again
What is real reason Royal Caribbean have pulled out?

  2. Leave Fort James alone. It should be made a national park where people can go and relax and exercise.

  3. This so called pie in the sky project was nothing more than that.It was DOA, from the beginning. It had not a damn thing to do with COVID.Everything this Administration touches turned to DUNG.
