Tyra Fenton Captures Gold for Antigua and Barbuda at CARIFTA 2025

Antigua and Barbuda’s Tyra Fenton blazed to victory in the Girls Under-17 400m at the 2025 CARIFTA Games, clinching Gold with an impressive time of 53.93 seconds.

Her win marks the nation’s second medal of the games, following a strong performance by Raniqúe Richards, who earned Bronze in the Girls Under-17 category.

Minister of Sport Daryll Matthew congratulated both athletes for making the nation proud, highlighting their hard work and determination on the regional stage.

  3. This youth is awesome and will surely receive a scholarship in the coming years, was up for a triple but I guess she declined on the 100m which I can understand.
    Saw Bailey pulled up close to the finish in the hundred and was laying on the track, but the way he walked off without any assistance or a limp nothing seems to be wrong, hope he is ok but that was a bit strange.
    Joseph seems to have been out of breath even before he got to the curve, big up our shot putter Ranique, don’t think Dowdye pushing hard enough.
    It’s all about focusing on bettering your best time, length or height and by doing so, medals will eventually appear.
