
Tyra Fenton and Kasiya Daley Qualify for 2025 Carifta Games
Antigua and Barbuda’s Tyra Fenton has secured her spot in the 100m for the 2025 Carifta Games after a standout performance at the Cool and Smooth Interschool Track and Field Championships. Representing St. Anthony’s Secondary School (SASS), she not only qualified but also won the Under-17 girls’ 100m. This adds to her earlier qualification in the 200m and a gold medal win in the 400m.
Princess Margaret School’s (PMS) Kasiya Daley also earned a 100m qualification, adding to his previously secured spot in the boys’ Under-20 200m. He clinched gold in the 100m final on Friday, solidifying his place for the April 19-21 regional event in Trinidad and Tobago.
Other athletes qualifying so far include Dwanye Fleming, Ranique Richards (PMS), Zonique Charles (SNRA), Geolyna Dowdye (PMS), and Lanica Locker.
