The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed two new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 case in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 30th November 2020 at 6pm.
Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard on Monday 30th November 2020 with the cut off time of 6pm, five samples were processed at the Mount St. John’s Medical Center’s Laboratory which increased the pending results from sixty-one to sixty-six.
Of the five samples processed by MSJMC, four were negative with one repeat positive while the sixty-one samples processed by CARPHA, fifty-six were negative with five positive. Three of the positive cases processed by CARPHA are repeat tests. The two new cases were imported.
Meanwhile, three new recovered cases have been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and thirty-three.
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and forty-four (144) with seven (7) active cases.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

The real numbers are much higher
On these last 3 positive cases, recorded as imported,, would like to know why they were tested? Did they present with symptoms?
Were they contact traced and required to test?
Would really like more info how someone is chosen or required to test.
Liar ask CARPA for the information!!! They are not going to stand and let us change their figures, aweful,so stop your foolishness
They cannot speak about the thousands of tourists every month that arrive in Antigua and are never tested.
A certain percentage of those people have COVID and spread it around the island.
CARPHA also cannot speak about the number of asymptomatic Antiguans who are never tested and they cannot speak about the number of sick Antiguans who are told to stay home and recover and are never tested.
CARPHA also doesn’t get a record of the positive COVID tests done by private doctors.
So, no CARPHA cannot speak to your fraud.
Tammy and Todd have COVID.
If Tammy and Todd fly to Barbados on Friday with a negative COVID certificate, they will be tested on arrival, found to be positive and quarantined.
And the number of cases of COVID in Barbados will increase by 2.
If Tammy and Todd fly to Antigua on Friday, they will not be tested or quarantined.
They will be free to interact with you and I at Epicurean, at the movies and remove their masks while they eat, bars and restaurants where they remove their masks, and interact with resort staff and Taxi drivers and tour guides.
They may even visit houses of prostitution or engage in sexual relations with male and female Antiguans as many tourists have been known to do.
Tammy and Todd will spread disease wherever they go on their fun Antiguan vacation.
But the number of COVID cases will not increase in Antigua because Tammy and Todd and the people they infected will probably never be tested in Antigua.
That’s why the numbers provided by Antigua are not reliable.

We don’t have to move to the US or UK to encounter these COVID carriers. They are coming right to us and the government let’s them right in with no testing or quarantining.
