Two men have been charged in connection with several offences following an incident at the Soca Sangria event on November 2.
Omar Richards, 19, of Carnival Gardens, and St. Claire Simon, 26, of Barnes Hill, appeared before Senior Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Tuesday to face multiple charges, including giving false information to police, malicious damage, and theft.
Police say the pair, along with others known to authorities, allegedly broke into several vehicles at the event. Items reportedly stolen or damaged included a Nissan Xtrail key, Versace perfume, Apple AirPods, and other personal effects valued at $977.
Richards, who was already on bond for a previous larceny charge, and Simon were both remanded and are due back in court on Friday.
