TWO MEN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

The police have arrested and charged Wayne Thomas of Buckleys and Jevaughn Josiah of Seatons in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred at Jabberwock Beach.
Both men are accused of robbing two individuals of a vehicle on Sunday, June 15. The stolen vehicle was later recovered by police in the Freetown area.
Josiah appeared before the court on Friday, June 20, and was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison until September 3, 2025. Wayne Thomas is expected to appear in court sometime during the upcoming week.
Anyone with additional information surrounding the ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Parham Police Station at 463-2060, the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913, or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

Aggravated robbery is a very serious charge, indicating a use of force or weapons. It’s crucial that our legal system handles these cases with the gravity they deserve. The community needs to feel protected, and arrests like these are a step towards that.

They make the law, the break the law, then make a mockery of the same law, only the ones at the lower end of society are punished. We need to remove the top then crime will decrease
