At a time when the message is being touted to eat healthier, two institutions have received timely donations to further help them do so.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs in collaboration with the China Aid Agricultural Project by LongPing China, assisted by the Agricultural Extension Division, donated a variety of fresh vegetables to the Fiennes Institute and the Clare Vue Psychiatric Hospital.
This initiative forms part of the call to continue to support the needy and to that of the agricultural development programme moving forward.
In the meantime, the farmers have reiterated their commitment to reducing Antigua and Barbuda’s food import bill by protecting our food security and nutrition and livelihood.
