Two Charged With Robbing Mini-Mart
The police have jointly charged 21-year-old Jaheim Hodge of Fort Road and 26-year-old Trevhone Omar Miller of Jennings in connection with the ongoing robbery investigation of a Mini-Mart on DeSouza Road.
Earlier this week, both men were arrested and taken into custody by the police for questioning. They are accused of robbing the cashier of Foodland Mini-Mart on an undisclosed amount of money and a mobile phone on Tuesday, March 25.
Kelvin Sundar of Lower Bishopgate Street was previously charged in connection with the said incident. He is now on remand at His Majesty’s Prison. His committal is scheduled for June 2, 2025. Both men are expected in court next week.

I hope people will see and understand now why when an active investigation into a crime is taking place we cannot be too eager for all the news one time.
The Police need time to develop the leads they get without signaling to the criminals what is being looked at or done.
I know it is not easy. Neither on the public nor the Police but we have to try. We can still find ways to hold them accountable, just not in the first 72 hours.
Crime is definitely out of control, a stronger message must be sent to deter these people just put them away for much longer times even if parliament has to review the law, just do it man!

Every human being is a belong. They have parents, brothers, sisters ect. These young people just loose and wild, looking to get fast cash! I said loose, because if three guys rob one place and only get 50$ who will get that 50$ or how will it be devided. Senseless to me, these young people don’t need no jailed. The government need to build a center where these guys can go and do something better with their lives….. ex…. Plant food /gardening, do something sensible within a time frame for they punishment/sentencing… Do a 9_5 outside with 1/2 hr lunch break.. just my two cents thoughts!!!! Remember to each his own and we all BELONG🙏🏾
