Two Arrested for Breaking into Vehicles

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Monday, November 3, 2025

Police arrested two young men on suspicion of Malicious Damage after they were caught breaking into vehicles along Powells Main Road near Kennedy’s Wholesale.

Around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, officers from the Coolidge Police Station responded to a report of suspicious activity and discovered a silver Honda CR-V with its alarm sounding and the left passenger glass shattered. Two suspects were found hiding near the vehicle and were arrested and taken into custody. Further investigations are ongoing into the incident.

The police are encouraging anyone with additional information surrounding the incident to contact CID at 462-3913 or Coolidge Police Stationat 462-3185.

  1. What sought of additional information y’all looking for, y’all didn’t even give names but y’all seeking additional information.

    Punish them because they were caught in the act, base on the report it was the authorities whom would have caught them as well.

  2. The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crimes.

  3. Happy that they were caught on the spot. Atleast the police responded to something quickly, or maybe these criminals are trainees

  4. If these cameras are available, then let’s install them. These thieves are overdoing the thing now. Putting people in unnecessary expenses.
