Two Arrested and Charged for Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Drugs

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Thursday, 14 August 2025

The police have arrested and jointly charged 39-year-old Mandella Spencer and 23-year-old Nyana Alfred, both of Cedar Valley, in connection with a series of drug and ammunition-related offenses.

The charges include, Possession of four (.25mm) rounds of ammunition, Unlawful possession of 368.9 grams of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to transfer, possession of 0.2 grams of cocaine, and Cultivation of cannabis.

The offenses occurred at Cedar Valley on Tuesday, 12 August 2025, during a police operation carried out by officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force.

Both accused were taken into custody and are expected to appear before the court to answer the charges.

  1. You have ammunition, you could have the gun hidden somewhere else or maybe loaned it to someone else. Whichever punishment should happen
