Two women with strong Antiguan roots have secured places among the finalists for Miss Caribbean UK 2025, set for 1 November at London’s Shaw Theatre.

Kmari Wellington, a London-based entrepreneur, is representing Antigua and Barbuda. Trained in ballet, tap, acting, and music, she holds certifications in Musical Theatre and Popular Music from the University of West London. In 2020, she launched Kmari Kollection, a growing hair and beauty brand. During a recent visit to Antigua, she donated 20 care packages to the Sunshine Home for Girls, each filled with essentials, school supplies, and her own products. Wellington hopes to use the platform to inspire confidence and entrepreneurship among young women, particularly those leaving care systems in Antigua.

Maurisa-Jae Isaac, also representing Antigua and Barbuda alongside her Jamaican heritage, brings more than 15 years of performance experience. A former actress with a degree in Musical Theatre, she has appeared in national competitions, West End productions, and international shows. Recently transitioning into a corporate career, Isaac says she is now focused on faith, purpose, and uplifting others in the Caribbean diaspora. She sees Miss Caribbean UK as an opportunity to represent her heritage with authenticity and to encourage young people to embrace growth and resilience.

Both women are also vying for the People’s Champion award, determined by public votes. Supporters are encouraged to back their candidates by engaging with their official profiles.

The 2025 Miss Caribbean UK Grand Finals will take place on 1 November at The Shaw Theatre, under the patronage of barrister and TV personality Dr Shaun Wallace.
