A delivery truck carrying ham and turkey overturned while ascending a hill in Herberts, resulting in a fatal accident.

According to preliminary reports, the vehicle tipped over and tragically landed on the individual, who was pronounced dead.

Police officers confirmed the fatality and noted that several others sustained injuries during the incident.

Emergency services were dispatched to the area, and injured individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Details about the cause of the accident and the identities of those involved are yet to be disclosed.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

    @Construct Observer, signs of the times……hmmmmnnn!
    This is not only tragic, it’s ironic in regards to the circumstances.
    Weather conditions? Road conditions? Vehicle condition? Driver discretion? Crowd behaviour?
    There have been previous reports of people running alongside and jumping on the trucks distributing these bribes for votes.

  3. Ham and Turkeys to die for. Thanks ABLP. Condolences to the families but this “Nicodemus” move by ABLP where they they now try to hide by delivering in the night was bound to be tragic at some point. They can no longer roll the turkeys on the ground since they may get lost in the gutters so now it’s just jostling and fighting in the night by the ‘dont Kay dams’ to get one, or two, hams and turkeys, no doubt bought using their own tax dollars.
    Woe is we!!!!

  5. @ Zackie, I thought for a second of your question of the “delivering in the nights” but, it came back that, that time would be the best time due to majority of the residents being home. Can’t do at day due to pretty much everybody will be at work or elsewhere. Can’t do it on days during the weekend, cause again most people would be either at church or elsewhere again. So pretty much after normal work hours of let us say 5pm till night.

    Also, noting that sun sets around 5:30pm, for the christmas/winter season, hence again night comes in earlier.

    But alas, condolences to the family. Guess we will hear more to understand why and how in more information later.
