Tropical Disturbance Nearing Tropical Storm Status in Atlantic

1

NHC -A developing tropical disturbance, known as AL94, is steadily gaining strength in the eastern Tropical Atlantic.

Located southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands, this system is generating disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

Meteorologists anticipate that environmental conditions will increasingly favor development, making it highly likely for a tropical depression or tropical storm to take shape in the coming days.

The disturbance is forecast to progress westward to west-northwestward across the central and western tropical Atlantic.

For comprehensive updates and gale warnings, consult the High Seas Forecasts from the National Weather Service.

There’s a 70% chance of formation in the next 48 hours, increasing to 90% over the next week.

  1. Catch 22:
    Hot and wet?
The rain is needed to fill our tanks but we have to do something about the overgrown foliage. I went to get my bread and was sweet forage for the mosquitoes !!!
I keep my yard clean and try to encourage neighborhood clean up, but this is a bit much.
