NHC – A broad area of low pressure, positioned several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands, is generating showers and thunderstorms.
Although this system has become less organized since yesterday, environmental conditions are expected to become more favorable for development.
As a result, a tropical depression is still likely to form around midweek, while the system moves westward or west-northwestward across the central and western tropical Atlantic.
