Delon Charlery, accused of murdering Customs Officer Zorina Benjamin in November 2021, is set to stand trial on July 8.
Benjamin was found dead in her Golden Grove residence with a gunshot wound to the head.
Charlery, her partner from St Lucia, has been in custody since facing murder charges.
After multiple court appearances, the case was committed to the High Court in November 2022.
Charlery, maintaining his innocence, recently had a trial date tentatively scheduled during his latest court appearance.
