Traffic diversions on Anchorage Road start today

The Ministry of Works says there will be a diversion of traffic on Fort Road between the Marble Hill Road junction and the New Bridge, starting Monday, August 21 between 7 am to 6 pm.

The Ministry says this will be necessary as crucial roadworks are carried out during daylight hours on that section of the thoroughfare.

Diversion signs and flag personnel will direct the flow of traffic to diversion routes during the day, while the routine flow of traffic will resume at night.

Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution as some open trenches, marked with caution tape, will be present.

The Ministry says delays will be unavoidable and encourages people to adjust their travel times accordingly.

Individuals are asked to contact the C.O. Williams Construction Ltd Project Office in Upper Gambles at 562-9573 for further information.
