Tourism Minister Confirms Progress on Rwanda and Saudi Arabia Air Service Agreements
Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez says discussions with Rwanda Air are still in progress, as Antigua and Barbuda continues to expand its international aviation partnerships.
Speaking in a recent interview following the announcement of direct flights to Colombia, Fernandez also revealed that a new air service agreement with Saudi Arabia is expected to be signed in the coming months.
“We’re looking to have that finalized definitely within a couple of months,” he told Observer this week.
Fernandez noted that the government remains focused on diversifying its tourism market, aiming to attract more visitors from regions beyond the traditional North American and European markets.
