Locations to be affected: Northern and western Antigua, Barbuda and the adjacent waters.
Timing: Until 3 pm today.

Synopsis: Unstable weather conditions will possibly result in tornadoes/waterspoutssomewhere
near or within the specified watch area.

The risk to life and property is medium, be prepared.

A tornado watch means that conditions are favourable for the development of
tornadoes/waterspouts in and close to the watch area.

Potential Impacts: Injury or death; damaged or destroyed homes, businesses and other
structures; extensive property loss; disruption to power, communication, transportation and
other services and roll vehicles.

Related thunderstorms can cause heavy rains and flash flooding.

  4. You guys sound like some jokers in a pack of cards talking about tornadoes. You need to research how tornadoes are formed and stop issuing tonado warning. Get your facts straight about tornadoes. We the Antiguan people a not stupid, if ŵe were really to get a tornado, what really would the affected people do to protect them from the after effect of that typhoon. Get your facts straight meteologist it’s like you study meteors rather than the weather.
