TinyHope, a local support group for families of preterm babies, has joined the global community in observing Prematurity Awareness Day 2025, highlighting this year’s theme: “Give preterm babies a strong start for a hopeful future.”
In a statement issued for the occasion, the organisation said the theme serves as a “powerful reminder that even the smallest beginnings deserve unwavering support, compassionate care, and every opportunity to thrive.”
TinyHope, which provides guidance and emotional support to parents navigating the challenges of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), emphasised its continued commitment to strengthening community awareness and fostering meaningful connections among families affected by prematurity.
The group said it aims to “spark awareness, strengthen community connections, and inspire conversations” that uplift parents throughout their journey and beyond discharge from the NICU.
Paying tribute to what it described as “brave little fighters” and the families and healthcare teams who care for them, TinyHope expressed gratitude for their resilience. “Your strength lights the path toward brighter tomorrows,” the statement read, adding that the organisation remains committed to offering support “today and always.”
