Three new cases of COVID-19 in Antigua & Barbuda

(Dashboard Update for December 28, 2020)

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) has revealed three new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Sunday 27th December 2020 at 6pm.

Of the one hundred and twenty-seven samples processed by MSJMC, one hundred and twenty-four were negative and three positive.  The three positive cases were imported.

Meanwhile, one new recovery has been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and forty-seven.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and fifty-eight (158); which is inclusive of six (6) active cases.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  2. Why is there a separate listing for imported and non-imported? Twin island state, so if it wasn’t here before it must have been introduced to the island at some point. Just group the figures instead of trying to make it something it’s not!

    • Persons have been asking for them to be separated now it is they want it all in one. Smh can’t please everyone.

    INDIA six (6) tourists from the UK landed in India and tested positive with the new strain of COVID19.

    JAMAICA twenty (20) tourists from the UK landed in Jamaica and tested positive for COVID19.

    SWITZERLAND 420 UK tourist breached self quarantine order to avoid mandatory 10 days isolation.

    BARBADOS four (4) tourists from the UK landed in Barbados and tested positive for COVID19.

    Please not all of the above arrived at their destination with negative COVID19 results.

    Mean time ST Kitts has the lowest infection rate in this hemisphere however Antigua with Sir Molwyn has all the firsts and are leading the pack to the point where Antigua has become the example of what not to do.

    A ‘LIVE’ COVID-19 VIRUS HAS NEVER BEEN ISOLATED BY ANYONE, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!

    The PCR ‘test doesn’t prove that someone has or hasn’t been infected. It is being misused for political purposes to convince gullible people that they need to remain in fear and OBEY.

    There have NOT been any EXCESS deaths in 2020. This means that the pandemic was a hoax. The deaths attributed to covid-19 is an example of ‘creative accounting’. They moved the numbers around from other categories of death and called them covid deaths.

    When are you people going to wake up to the fact that you’re being fooled by people with a deceitful agenda. They want your compliant obedience to their dictatorial orders.
