Police say three men are assisting with investigations following the murder of Troy “Monkey” Samuel in Bendals last night.
The men were reportedly walking with Samuel when an assailant emerged from bushes and shot Samuel several times.
The other men were not injured in the attack.
Samuel was shot 9 times about the body around 8 pm on Thursday evening in Bendals village.
He was reportedly released from prison last week.
