Police have arrested three men following the seizure of an illegal firearm and ammunition during an operation in the Green Bay area.
The operation took place at about 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, 24 January, and involved officers from multiple departments.
A Glock 17 9mm pistol and 15 rounds of ammunition were recovered. The suspects, aged 21, 25 and 33, were taken into custody.
Police say investigations are continuing. Officers have reiterated their commitment to removing illegal firearms from communities and are urging members of the public to share any information that could assist ongoing efforts to reduce crime.

So many gun crimes happen in this small place, it really boggles my mind. When these people are caught they have to be put away for much much longer times than what is current. A woman just stupidly lost her life. It is beyond ridiculous now. In my opinion anyone who has a gun intends to use it
But still yet when the magistrate sentenced them to prison, you all are the same one bashing the magistrate. I support stiffer penalties for gun crimes. Go back to parliament and increase the prison sentencing. A lady just lost her life to gun crime. The present penalty for gun crime in Antigua is not working. Only one female magistrate in Antigua that take gun crime seriously

Make sure Hezikyah Parker gets 10 years too, we need people like him off our streets… Police please keep doing raids and searches …many more guns to get off our streets.

Please bargain their complete freedom with them for the source of obtaining the gun, if we get to the root it will be better than trimming the branches, because the government is tip toeing around some untouchable Caucasian and politicians why the police does nothing, sound so dumb that the public has better detective technique than the police themselves, so it’s obvious that the police and politicians is working for the criminals who import guns and drugs.
