  1. AI has been around for a long long time, and has been in use widely.
Chat Gbt released it in November 2023 enabling it’s use by machine learning engineers and the public.
Since then others have released AI programs avaible to the public. When Mark Zuckerberg Harvard and went California it was to build Facebook on an AI platform. It’s AI that promos for connection to new friends. It’s AI that tells Spotify what music you like.
Given that AI isn’t anything new and it’s opensource to subscribers and the Chinese has up the game with DeepSeek at a cost bringinv AI to be more and more affordable to Caribbean people.

What’s the plan behind the rethoric?

How is the Government at the secondary school level, and UWI Five Islands educating and preparing students to design programs that deliver end-to technology , and AI-powered automation to transform Government functions and local business operations ?

Don’t even want to mention about research.
Time to get rid of the rethoric and prepare the next generation of cutting edge technology.
Microsoft announcements of quantum break though will soon make AI yesterday’s technology.

Don’t tell what AI can do. Present a plan for incorporation AI in creating efficiency and value to our lives every day.
