The Rotary Club of Antigua is proud to announce four scholarships awarded to deserving students, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to education, youth empowerment, and community development.
The scholarships were presented to outstanding students from the Antigua and Barbuda Institute of Continuing Education (ABICE), recognizing their academic dedication and potential to make meaningful contributions to society.

Sherrie-Ann Brazier, President of the Rotary Club of Antigua, expressed her enthusiasm for the program:
“Supporting our youth through education is vital for the sustainable development of our nation.
We are committed to nurturing the talents of our young people and empowering them to become future leaders.
We extend congratulations to the recipients Briana Stay- Carpentry, Kelsy Honore – Plumbing, Tabitha Archibald – Garment Production, and Jevaughn Samuel – Electrical.
The initiative aims to reduce the financial barriers associated with tuition and related costs, allowing students to focus more fully on their studies and future careers.
It is part of the Rotary Club’s broader mission to foster youth development, educational advancement, and community upliftment across Antigua and Barbuda.
Ms. Cheyvonnie Francis, Head of Secretarial Skills at ABICE, highlighted the significance of these scholarships in breaking gender barriers. “Two of the four awardees are females who have taken up predominantly male-dominated fields of study.
This milestone underscores the importance of encouraging and investing in all talented individuals, regardless of gender, and serves as a call to government and corporate entities to follow suit and support the educational pursuits of our nationals,” she remarked.
The Rotary Club also extends special thanks to Past Presidents Dr. Vanetta Rodgers and Dr. Errol Samuel, members of the Scholarships Committee, whose dedication and leadership have been instrumental in the success of this initiative.
For decades, the Rotary Club of Antigua has been dedicated to empowering individuals and uplifting communities through service projects, mentorship programs, and charitable initiatives.
The annual scholarship program remains a vital component of the club’s efforts to nurture the next generation of leaders and changemakers.
