2. I have been advocating for a proper credit bureau to be established in Antigua and Barbuda such that lending agencies can do a proper and comprehensive analysis of borrowers credit worthiness in order to get away from this habit of publishing persons names and addresses in the public media. We also need to give careful consideration to strengthening our privacy laws so that companies cannot just advertise and publish names and addresses like that without the proper legal authority. Doing so creates serious reputational impact and damage and could be considered as defamatory.
