The National Swim Team Heads to Doha
St. John’s Antigua, 8th February 2024) – The Antigua and Barbuda swimmers participating in the World Aquatics Championships held in Doha, Qatar, departed from the island last evening.
The team comprises Ellie Shaw, Aunjelique Liddie, Stefano Mitchell, and Jadon Wuilliez. Nelson Molina is serving as the team’s coach, with Daniella Shaw acting as the team manager.
In the competition, Ellie Shaw will compete in the 50 and 100 meters breaststroke while Aunjelique Liddie will participate in the 50 and 100 meter freestyle events. Stefano Mitchell will compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle events, and Jadon Wuilliez will represent in the 50 and 100 meters breaststroke races.
It is noteworthy that the Doha Championships which runs from 2nd to 18th February 2024 is a pre qualifier to this summer’s Paris Olympics.
