Ten-year-old Nia Hill is on her way to Beijing to represent Antigua and Barbuda in the International Bridge Competition on October 21.
This unique event focuses on language skills and cultural knowledge, and Nia has been hard at work honing her Mandarin and learning about Chinese culture. Out of over 100 young competitors from around the world, she’s ready to showcase her talents. “I feel proud and hope to bring home the gold medal,” she said in a recent interview.
The competition is a celebration of linguistic talent and cultural exchange, uniting young minds from across the globe.
