The teenager found with former minister Eleston ‘Namba’ Adams’ phone was remanded in custody.
The 15 year old male from Grays Farm has been charged for the theft.
The teenager was held in Grays Farm on Sunday after he was reportedly spotted with Mr Adams’ iPhone.
The teenager appeared in court yesterday and was remanded ahead of his next court date on the 6th of January next year.
According to sources, the teenager is being held on remand at Police Headquarters.
Mr Adams, who is a former Minister, had reported he was robbed of his phone earlier this month in the vicinity of St John’s.
He is reported to have told police young men rode up behind him on bicycles and snatched the phone as he was talking on it.
