Lawmen have confirmed that 14-year-old Jevonte James of Mckinnons is in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital following an altercation with a friend.
The incident occurred on Friday when 16-year-old Daniel Weaver allegedly struck James in the head with a stone.
The Antigua Grammar School student remains in a coma since being admitted to the hospital.
Police say they are investigating the matter.
