Teddy Daley, head coach of the Power Speed and Endurance Track Club, was named Coach of the Year 2025 at the Antigua and Barbuda National Sports Awards.
The award, presented by Ena Henry, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Education and Sports, recognizes coaches who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and success in developing athletes.
Daley, who coaches athletics, led his athletes to more than 50 gold medals over the past year, along with multiple national titles, CARIFTA medals and regional records. Organizers said his work extends beyond competition results, citing his mentorship, personal commitment and focus on academic advancement among his athletes.
As part of the recognition, Daley received a two-year scholarship from the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus.
The National Sports Awards celebrate the achievements of athletes, coaches and sports administrators who continue to advance sport in Antigua and Barbuda.
