Teachers are back to work following days of sit-ins in which they demanded retroactive pay owed to them.

All members of the Teachers Union participated in the action, refusing to perform their duties until every teacher who was owed received their retroactive payments, covering a period of three years.

The union’s stance was firm throughout the sit-ins, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling long-outstanding financial obligations to its members.

Antiguans are such reprehensible cowards they will take dirt and call it survival. If the cabinet can get 14% raise and retro pay,why not civil servants? But alas,we take the mediocrity and corruption like well behaved slaves.
