Tattoo Artist ‘Mongoose’ Remanded After Admitting to Gun Charges
Tattoo artist and influencer Oszie Kelvin Russell, known as “Mongoose,” has been remanded to prison after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Russell, 40, appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Tuesday and will be sentenced tomorrow.
Police say a Glock 80 pistol, 10 rounds of ammunition, and a firearm compressor were found during a search at his Lightfoot home on April 22.

It’s sad to hear about all of these guns turning up around Antigua. Sorry to hear that Kelvin has to go to jail for this but I know this law is meant to keep some of these illegal guns off of the streets and away from the real gunmen who might find such a gun and do a crime with it or more horrifically murder someone with it.
People are concerned but having a gun to protect yourself is not the right answer.. We have to come up with an alternative solution.
For me, the music that encourages gun use should be suppressed. This is the first weapon of mass distraction that permeates our young people minds. I hope a shift back to peaceful days is on the horizon
