Former UPP Public Relations Officer Damani Tabor has firmly declined any consideration of joining the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) following his resignation.

Last week, Tabor addressed rumors that he had been invited to meet with Prime Minister Gaston Browne regarding a potential role within the ruling party, dismissing the claims as unfounded.

“Suffice it to say, I’m not entertaining the gesture,” Tabor said, in response to speculation.

He went on to criticize individuals he described as spreading falsehoods, asserting that there was no basis for the claim that he had visited the Prime Minister’s office for political negotiations.

“When propagandists say they have pictures, they can’t produce them because they don’t exist,” Tabor added.

Tabor emphasized that he remains independent and is committed to voicing constructive criticism where needed while also contributing to the national discourse in a way that benefits the country.

He expressed that being unaffiliated allows him to provide balanced input, free from accusations of partisanship.

Tabor said that his focus remains on uplifting Antigua and Barbuda, not on aligning with any political party.

  1. Regarding this:

“When propagandists say they have pictures, they can’t produce them because they don’t exist,” Tabor added, clarifying that his presence at the office was related to charity work for children, not political maneuvering.

In my discussion with J Truth (https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=watch_permalink&v=1549860278955687), I did not state that I made any visits to the PM, Cabinet or otherwise, on any matter – charity work for children or otherwise. Neither have I said anything of the sort on any other platform.

Nevertheless, I will also state categorically that it is the right and duty of every right-thinking Antiguan and Barbudan – including myself – to do whatever they can towards the progress and upliftment of our nation. Rest assured that if I do visit Cabinet to dialogue on constructive interventions, I will disseminate the pictures and details to both media and social media myself.

The hateful, vindictive and totally compromised current UPP Leadership will, of course, see any constructive engagement towards nation-building only through a smeared political lens.

Some within that same leadership even go so far as to expect those in the employ of Government to underperform in their work, or even sabotage tasks and programmes in which they are involved. Why? Because if you “back UPP” you can’t “make the Government look good” by working hard, sharing policy ideas, or having constructive dialogue on nationally beneficial interventions, with any official or on any media platform. This too, I categorically condemn.

The ballot box is where political scores are ultimately settled, when voters make their final assessment of the performance of the incumbent. In the meantime, the best interests of Antigua and Barbuda must be advanced by all – both through criticism of shortfalls and constructive engagement on pathways to progress.

    • thank you for EXPOSING the “CHAOS DEMON” for the entire world to see. The emress has no clothes but teverybody keeps telling her she outfit look nice!

Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. COUNTRY 1st! Please help to UPLIFT ANTIGUA. Use your talent to contribute to the development of your country. Do not join with “greatful” bankrupt Franz and tear it down! Be true to your conscience, true to God, true to country!

  2. Boss whether a comrade or not, as long as you are willing to place A&B first, that should be all we ask. A&B has to be the main focus because its where many of us have treasures. The long term is also important especially for those of us who have or plan to raise children in A&B.

  3. Tabor is smart to stay independent. Joining the ABLP would only fuel more speculation and drama. Good for him for keeping his focus on the country’s progress!

  4. It’s refreshing to hear someone step away from the political circus and prioritize constructive criticism over partisan politics. Tabor seems like he genuinely wants to help Antigua.

  5. Tabor has no need to lie, and he is doing a favor to the country by leaving toxic UPP. He does not have to keep secrets any more as he no longer a member. Serpent n Shugy are in a different position. Until they are out they can’t talk.

  6. Poor Tabor wanted to talk about it long time… Jtruth didn’t even have to ask🙆‍♀️ the abuse was real in upp with the person he labels the C-H-A-O-S D-E-M-O-N!!!

  7. UPP really has to be a cult, look how calm and cool Tabor sounds. Before, he use to sound like the devil whipping his behind
