Antigua and Barbuda Police arrested a man after a break-in at Paradiso on Lower All Saints Road early on Sunday.
Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and the Special Services Unit (SSU) responded to a report around 3:30 a.m. and surrounded the building.
The suspect tried to flee through a back door, confronting police with a pointed object. An officer fired a warning shot, after which the man jumped a fence and escaped into a nearby gutter carrying a bag.
He was later found in Michael’s Village with a screwdriver and a bag containing a metal grinder and other tools. The man sustained injuries and was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Investigators said the suspect gained entry by prying open a wooden door.
An undisclosed amount of cash and coins were taken. The Forensic Evidence Recovery Unit processed the scene as inquiries continue.

This story is the misleading story the was published by ANR last week stating that someone was shot in John Hughes.
The victim was shit in his buttocks.
How could he have attacked the police and gotten shot in his buttocks?
Did he attack the police backwards?
What explanation could the police give for the burglar/victim being shot in his buttocks?
Anyhow, the victim underwent surgery yesterday Monday.
Doctors removed the bullet which was lodged in the man’s punishment.

THE SHOOTER IS ONE OF THE TWO POLICE OFFICERS WHO WERE INVOLVED IN THE SHOOTING DEATH OF THE BOLANS YOUTH.
Why was he given a firearm to go out while he remains the subject of an active shooting investigation.
The victim is the son of high ranking police officer.
Though his son has been shot, the senior police officer has remained most professional.

“An undisclosed amount of cash and coins was stolen” I guess the man they found was viewed on camera, cause when they found and arrested this man, he only had a screwdriver and a bag containing a metal grinder along with other tools.
