A local supermarket has taken an unconventional approach to tackling theft after noticing a rise in stolen baby diapers.

In response, the store put up a sign that reads: “XPZ did not get you pregnant, stop stealing pampers.”

The lighthearted message has caught public attention, blending humour with a firm warning to potential shoplifters.

  1. Really in a shocking turn of events. Who expected things to get this serious. XPZ never send aryou fa get pregnant. Where are the cameras tho?

  2. Epicurean would’ve called the police and publicly shamed the alleged thief over a few small items. XPZ is handling this much better. I hope the thief/thieves take note and appreciate the grace that’s being given.

  3. Shame shame shame…. Hit me high, hit me low. This is crazy. Maybe Gaston Browne needs to look into the matter of how life is so tough, these people can even afford pampers.

  4. If people are stealing diapers, the bigger issue is the cost of living! What is PM Browne doing about this??????

  5. I saw the pic and realized that it couldn’t be XPZ…. those aren’t XPZ shelves and the price for those diapers isn’t anywhere near $12!! I dismissed it as a pic someone doctored to say XPZ. But the bigger issue is that times are so hard that people are now resorting to stealing diapers. What’s the PM doing about the high cost of living?

  6. That sign is not funny at all..
It’s disrespectful so say the least!
Find a job and start taking care of your responsibilities, including your children.

  7. You think cost of living in this place easy, the supermarkets are killing us with their high prices, that doesn’t really give anyone the right to steal, it’s for the government to stamp out the price gouging that is taking place, and they keep denying, every week price go higher in Jolly Harbour supermarket and the one on Friars road and the other supermarkets follow suit, bloody set of vampires
