Historic Win: Antigua Celebrates Its First Super Lotto™ Jackpot Winner
Cedar Grove Resident Claims ECD $4.35 Million Prize After Playing Same Numbers since game’s inception
Caribbean Lottery™ is thrilled to announce Antigua & Barbuda’s first-ever Super Lotto™ jackpot winner, marking a historic milestone for the island.
The lucky winner and dedicated Lottery player, who requested to be referred to as “A.C.”, claimed the massive ECD $4,351,000.00 prize (USD $1,618,700.00) after matching all the Super Lotto™ winning numbers: 01, 06, 10, 12, 23 and Super Ball 09 on Tuesday May 13, 2025, for Draw Number 1613.
The winning ticket was purchased at Bridgette’s Bar in Cedar Grove, Antigua, making it a landmark location in Antigua’s lottery history.
Mr. A.C., an avid Super Lotto™ player, has demonstrated remarkable dedication by playing the same set of numbers consistently for the past sixteen (16) years.
He explained: “I’ve never changed these numbers since I started playing the lottery. These numbers were given to me by my mother and are very special to me and I always believed they would come through one day.”
And they did. Mr. A.C.’s advice to fellow lottery players reflects his unwavering faith in consistency: “Stay consistent with your numbers. Eventually, they will call.”
Mr. A.C. was presented with his cheque by the Director of IGT Antilles, Mrs. Shelly Ann Hee Chung, who extended heartfelt congratulations on the historic win: “As we present this cheque, in true Caribbean spirit we share in his celebration.
We know that this prize will make a profound difference in the life of our winner and his family.
This moment serves as a powerful reminder of the excitement and possibilities that come when you play any of our Caribbean Lottery™ games.
While we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our winner, this win is not just about one person’s good fortune; it is a victory for the whole community, showing that great things do happen to people right here in Antigua & Barbuda.”
Despite the life-changing magnitude of his win, the new millionaire remains remarkably composed about his fortune. “I’m taking it all in stride,” he said with characteristic Caribbean calm.
“It’s surreal, but I’m staying grounded and thinking about how this blessing can make a positive difference.”
When asked about his plans for the windfall, Mr. A.C. shared a strategic approach to his newfound wealth, turning his lottery fortune into a sustainable business venture that will create enduring financial stability for his family.
“I intend to invest my winnings in real estate, particularly apartments for Airbnb rentals.
This money needs to work for us long-term. I want to make sure my family is secure for generations to come, and real estate investment will provide ongoing income while building lasting wealth.”
Super Lotto™ has paid out over USD $65 million in jackpot prizes since its inception in 2010. In recognition of this historic win, Hee Chung stated: “As Antigua enters the record books with its first major jackpot winner, Caribbean Lottery™ continues its commitment to creating opportunities for players across the region.”

Sixteen years of playing the same numbers? That’s dedication paying off big time!
This story gives hope to all of us who’ve been playing for years.
But who is that mystery man?
Mi glad fi hear a local finally hit di jackpot. Well deserved!
After 16 years, that win must feel even sweeter.
Mi respect di commitment. Not many would keep playing that long.
Happy for you kid..you sound like a good person that will make good use of this money. Congrats.
Where are those that called the Lottery a scam? Are they now silenced. Or will they now still say they need to see the man’s face and know his name. Well if I was the winner, I would not have to fear my friends and family to come and beg me for some. And even if they did, me too tight. They would have gotten not a penny. But I would help the needy for sure. Places like the Soup Kitchen could depend on my generosity. I still say that the Lottery is spreading wealth faster than anything else. They have at least two winners per year. I just hope this young man uses his brain and manage his new found wealth well. I would like to see him in five years. The Lotto should have a program where they touch base with the winners after five years and see how they are doing financially.
