Commencing May 25, 2024, these routes will be operated by Embraer 120 (EMB-120) twin-turboprop aircraft, with each plane capable of accommodating up to 30 passengers.

Sunrise Airways’ Chairman and CEO, Philippe Bayard, remarked on the new flights, stating: โ€œAll of us at Sunrise Airways have cherished each new route that weโ€™ve inaugurated over the 12-year history of our airline.

This latest expansion, though, is extra special as it brings the mission we started in the Western Caribbean, to better connect our islands under our One Caribbean concept, to the Eastern Caribbean in the biggest way yet.

Fittingly as regards to our name, itโ€™s truly the dawn of a new day for intra-regional air travel within the Eastern Caribbean.โ€

The new services will operate six days a week, except Tuesdays. Antigua-Dominica and Antigua-St. Kitts routes will have two daily flights each. Antigua-St. Lucia will have daily flights.

Following its inaugural Miami flights announcement in October 2023, Sunrise Airways now operates routes to 12 gateways across the Caribbean and Central America, with plans for further expansion in the Eastern Caribbean in 2024.

Sunrise Airways unveiled a significant enlargement of its flight network, introducing new intra-regional routes that link four Eastern Caribbean locations: Antigua, Dominica, St. Kitts, and St. Lucia. Starting May 25, 2024, these routes will be serviced by Embraer 120 (EMB-120) twin-turboprop planes, each accommodating up to 30 passengers.

Sunrise Airways Chairman and CEO, Philippe Bayard, commented on the new flights, saying: โ€œAll of us at Sunrise Airways have cherished each new route that weโ€™ve inaugurated over the 12-year history of our airline.

The new services will be available six days a week, excluding Tuesdays.

โ€œWith two rotations per-day, our new Antigua, Dominica, and St. Kitts flights offer travelers in those markets tremendous flexibility,โ€ notedย Bayard. โ€œAt the same time, our new Antiguaโ€“St. Lucia service stands out as the only direct flight connecting two of the Caribbeanโ€™s most popular tourist destinations.

This creates exciting new options for multi-destination travel combining the sizzle of Antigua with the Creole savoir-faire of St. Lucia for the first time.โ€

This expansion follows Sunrise Airwaysโ€™ previous announcement in October 2023 of initiating its first flights to and from Miami. Currently, the airline operates routes to 12 gateways in six destinations across the Caribbean and Central America, including Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Panama City, and St. Maarten.

Plans are underway for further expansion in the Eastern Caribbean in 2024 and beyond.

  1. Nice. Next is to control the prices of tickets across the Caribbean. Let’s truly connect the Caribbean.
PS: Not interested in LIAT: Incompetent, unprofessional, and owe plenty workers money which they are trying to get away from.

  2. @Rastaman92.

Which Lait2020? That thing will be dead in the water before it even get a chance to take off, just watch, because you have a set of corrupt set a people behind that debacle waiting to happen, including the likes of Gatson Browne and his band of merry men.. ๐Ÿ˜‚.

What a joke..Lait2020, yea right.. lmao.

  3. Nice to have some options, pity they didn’t include Martinique or Guadalupe and give us options to travel further afield. I doubt I would book to Miami via their headquarters in Haiti

  4. Airlifts from the US Virgin Islands to Antigua on to St Lucia is urgently needed. We have to travel to the US via Charlotte or Miami to overnight and next day get a flight to St Lucia. This prevents more people from traveling. Please do something about this!
