Second Suspect Charged in High Street Robbery

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Wednesday, October 1, 2025

Police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Stephon Jackson of Clare Hall in connection with a robbery that occurred High Street.

It is alleged that the accused, along with other accomplices, robbed two individuals of a vehicle, along with their mobile phones and other valuable items on September 22.

Following the incident, a 17-year-old of Clare Hall was arrested by the police and subsequently charged for the offence. Jackson is expected to appear before the court sometime during the week.

Meanwhile, a third suspect allegedly involved in the said incident surrendered himself to the police on Tuesday. Further investgations are ongoing into the matter.

  1. I my sight there should only be one punishment for crime in Antigua 🇦🇬 death by way of hanging day after you’re sentence and I mean any crime , we would have a safe island and no prison jus a holding facility.
