The government has begun critical roadworks in the St Paul constituency, responding to years of complaints about deteriorating infrastructure.
Works Minister Maria Browne and St Paul MP E.P. Chet Greene visited the area to inspect road conditions in Cobbs Cross, Piccadilly, and Liberta. The tour confirmed the need for urgent improvements.
During the visit, the officials also assessed the Cobbs Cross clinic, which is nearly finished. Minister Browne instructed site engineer Telly Cornelius to complete the final touches swiftly.
MP Greene said the clinic is expected to open in June and described it as a campaign promise being fulfilled.
Officials say both initiatives will enhance public services and improve the quality of life in the constituency.

So because they build a clinic now they want to fix road?
Finally! Those roads have been in terrible shape for years — glad to hear they’re getting attention.
Good news for St Paul, but I hope the repairs will be done properly, not just a quick fix.
Road upgrades and a new clinic? Sounds like St Paul is getting the care it deserves.
Please include proper drainage this time — not just new pavement that floods after rain.
Hoping this is the beginning of broader investment in rural areas, not just a one-off.
Lights, Camera, Action🎬 oh sorry thought we were staging a movie
Promise that may never come through. It’s a government thing
Please fix All Saints road first. Its in need of some serious attention
leave All Saints Rd just so
too many reckless drivers eager to crash and die. The day that road gets fixed will be the end of young men in Antigua
All Saints Road has been politically ignored for a couple of decades now, because it’s an ABLP no-vote zone. Fact!
Browne and his cabal are wickedness personified.
One day the patriots of this country will hold this petty subordinate SATRAP of a leader to account.
… REMEMBER WE HAVE EYES …
