Three students from St Nicholas Primary School secured the top honours in the 2025 Halo Christmas Art Competition, once again showcasing the school’s outstanding artistic talent.
The winners were:

Jordan Holborough – 2nd Place

Amélie Hall – 1st Place

Savanah Holborough – Overall Winner

H. E. Sir Rodney Williams with Jordan Holborough, in second place

This year, the competition adopted a new format, awarding the top three overall winners instead of the traditional age-category divisions. Notably, the winning group included a brother-and-sister duo, further highlighting the exceptional talent emerging from our youth population.

During the brief ceremony, Her Excellency Lady Williams made a special announcement outlining the Foundation’s plans to host —- once again —- its annual major art development training programme in conjunction with the Royal Drawing School . This year , the competition will not only be open to schools , but will impose no age restrictions.

This initiative will culminate in a national art competition in recognition of CHOGM, aimed at celebrating and showcasing the creative abilities of the nation’s people.

Special commendation was also extended to St Nicholas Primary School for its unbroken record of participation in the Halo Christmas Card Competition, as well as for being the school with the highest number of wins since the competition’s inception.

Savannah Holborough, the overall winner , received a framed copy of her art work , an artist’s kit , and will shortly be presented with one of the Christmas cards printed with her design. The other two winners also received attractive and art-inspired prizes.
