The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) wishes to advise that the St. Mary’s North Registration Unit will be temporarily relocated to the Central Registration Facility (located opposite the John. E. St. Luce Financial Centre) on Factory Road, effective March 31st 2025.
The relocation of the St. Mary’s North Registration Unit is in keeping with the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act, No. II of 2002, Part II, Section 28 (2) (a) which states “Continuous registration shall be undertaken at such place or places and at the times fixed by the Commission”.
The Registration Unit was previously located at the Moravian Conference Centre at Cashew Hill to facilitate easy access for persons as part of the ongoing Expired Voter’s ID Card Replacement Programme. The Commission is in the process of relocating to a more suitable location within the Constituency and we anticipate this process should be completed in short order.
The Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures the public that we will provide timely updates regarding the return of the Registration Unit to the Constituency.
